Candidates have a choice of methods to prepare for the SII’s examinations but should refer to the individual programmes for further details of available training. The main choices for candidates are:
- private study using a workbook and personal resources
or
- attending a formal classroom based course, which will be in addition to private study.

A range of learning materials, both online and publications are available to candidates to support their examination study. Alternatively candidates can choose formal training from SII’s Accredited Training Providers (ATPs).
