Candidates who have gained one Diploma module are eligible for Associate Membership - ASI - of the Securities & Investment Institute. Candidates who take no further Diploma modules can become a Member of the SII after six years of Associate Membership and the demonstration of appropriate Continuing Professional Development.
Membership and Fellowship
Holders of the full Diploma, whether gained by passing three Diploma modules or two Diploma modules and gaining one exemption, are eligible immediately for Membership of the SII. Progress to Fellowship of the SII is achieved after three years' membership and the demonstration of appropriate Continuing Professional Development.
The Masters programme
Diploma holders seeking further intellectual challenge can progress to the SII Masters programme offered in conjunction with the following business schools:
- Sir John Cass Business School
- Edinburgh Business School
- International Faculty of Management (IFM) University of Manchester
- ISMA Centre at the University of Reading
- University of Strathclyde
- University of Warwick.
