The Certificate in Corporate Finance is aimed at
individuals working in corporate finance and related areas, such as venture
capital, who need to demonstrate a sound understanding of both regulatory and
technical aspects of the subject.

Aims of the Certificate in Corporate Finance
to
assess candidates’ understanding of the regulatory environment in which
corporate financiers operate in the UK; to assess candidates’
knowledge of listing and equity issue methods in the UK; to
assess candidates’ understanding of accounting analysis.

To achieve the Certificate in Corporate Finance:
The Certificate in Corporate Finance comprises two one-hour, 50 multiple
choice question papers: Corporate Finance Regulation (Unit 1)
Corporate
Finance Technical Foundations (Unit 2)
Candidates will usually take the two examinations on one day with a
break between them. Candidates will need to pass both units
to achieve the Certificate in Corporate Finance. |

Entry qualifications
There are no formal prerequisites for the Certificate in Corporate Finance. Experience in the industry will help candidates relate what they are learning to the job they are doing but it is not a requirement of taking the qualification. Examination entries are accepted from private individuals as well as via an employer.
