Wilf began his stockbroking career in 1983 as a messenger boy and a blue button on the floor of the London Stock Exchange. He worked his way up to become a director of Peregrine Securities (UK), the London based subsidiary of an Asian Investment Bank. More recently he worked in New Zealand as a private client stockbroker and portfolio manager for Forsyth Barr. He is currently Director of Charles Stanley’s Bristol office.

Wilf said, “My presidency comes at an exciting time as the SII Bristol branch has recently been reformed with a new committee dedicated to improving the branch’s membership and development. My main objective is to increase the profile of SII in Bristol for all members and potential members.”
