Membership Categories
The Institute has five different grades of membership, so whether you are just starting out in the industry and studying for a benchmark qualification or you are an established practitioner with a wealth of experience and qualifications, there is a grade appropriate for your level.
Professional Benefits
As well as the widely recognised designatory letters (ASI, MSI, and FSI) SII membership provides a comprehensive and diverse benefits package, designed to enhance and maintain knowledge.
The SII runs an acclaimed series of professional development CPD seminars, all free to its members and a series of conferences & training courses, on which members enjoy substantial discounts. We also have a number of free-to-members online learning tools to test and maintain competence.
In 2006, the SII unified all of its professional development activities under the SII CPD Scheme. This free, members-only continuing professional development scheme recommends a set amount of learning activities to be undertaken annually and provides members with the means of monitoring and record them.
