Securities & Investment Institute Fellowship is the pinnacle of membership, demonstrating an outstanding commitment to the financial services industry. There are over 3,400 FSI members at present.
Eligibility
Fellowship of the Institute may be applied for by MSI members who hold our Diploma award, SII Masters or the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) qualification, upon achievement of 3 years of logged CPD under the SII CPD Scheme. Please note these are our current requirements. These are subject to change from the 1 October 2009.

Free attendance at all our CPD events, and access to the online event archive.
Free access to the Institute's PIFs (Professional Interest Forums).
As with all categories of SII membership, FSI members who enrol upon any SII qualification are exempted from the Qualification Registration Fee (QRF).
Applying
FSI membership costs £175 annually, renewable every April. There is also a £50 joining fee. In order to upgrade to this category from MSI status (for SII Diploma or CFA holders), please download and complete the Membership Upgrade Form. Details of the pro-rata fees are on the form itself.
Honorary Fellowship - FSI(Hon)
From time to time the Securities & Investment Institute awards industry practitioners with an honorary membership known as Honorary Fellowship, or FSI(Hon). As a reward for their outstanding contributions to the financial services industry and/or to the Institute, FSI(Hon) members enjoy life-long, free membership.
