The Securities & Investment Institute (SII) is a professional body offering progressive qualifications, membership and professional development opportunities in the financial services industry. Headquartered in London, SII also has offices in China, Ireland, India, Singapore and the United Arab Emirates.

SII recognises the demand for qualified and knowledgeable candidates to support international financial services firms and helps individuals and firms to attain and maintain high standards of competence, behaviour and integrity.

The Institute has ongoing international initiatives in a number of countries where we have established partnerships to share and promote the standards of professionalism, integrity and excellence for which the Instituteis highly regarded in the global financial services industry.

The SII received formal approval for run training for its IAQ programme from the Education and Manpower Bureau in Hong Kong in March 2006. Training for the IAQ in Hong Kong is provided by Lexis-Nexis, which also offers training for the SII Certificate in Investment Management and Corporate Finance programmes. Lexis-Nexis also provides training for the IAQ on behalf of the Hong Kong Securities Institute (HKSI) which is promoting the IAQ to its qualification holders on behalf of SII.

Accredited Training Providers (ATPs)

 Many candidates for SII qualifications study successfully by distance learning, using SII workbooks and online learning tools. To offer an alternative route to learning and to ensure that candidates have local access to high quality training and support, SII partners with Accredited Training Providers (ATPs).

Computer Based Testing (CBT)
To offer greater flexibility for candidates, most of SII's qualifications are taken via Computer Based Testing (CBT). With Thomson Prometric, SII's global examination delivery partner, a worldwide network of test centres is available to ensure flexible scheduling, instant results and ease of completing the examination on screen.
