Alan Yarrow has been Group Vice Chairman of Dresdner Kleinwort since January 2000. He began his career with Grieveson Grant in 1972, made partner in 1981 and following its merger in 1989 with Kleinwort Benson, Alan held several senior roles leading to Managing Director of Kleinwort Benson Securities in 1994 and appointment to the Group Board in 1995. When Dresdner Bank took over Kleinwort Benson in 1995, Alan was appointed Global Head of Equities, joined the Management Board and in 2007 became CEO of the UK Region.
Alan is Chairman of LIBA, and a Member of the Take-over Panel and the FSA Practitioners Panel. He is also Vice-President of British Bankers Association, a Justice of the Peace and Alderman of the City of London. Alan became a member of the Stock Exchange in 1978. He is currently an Honorary Fellow of the Securities & Investment Institute and previously served on its Board between 2001 and 2005.
