The Securities & Investment Institute is the largest and most widely respected professional body for those who work in the securities and investment industry in the UK and in a growing number of major financial centres round the world. Formed in 1992 by London Stock Exchange practitioners, we now have more than 40,000 members in 89 countries. In the past year, we set almost 50,000 examinations in 49 countries, covering a range of vocational qualifications.

Members benefit from a range of professional and social activities. In our latest financial year, we had almost 11,000 bookings at more than 200 events, from our regular series of Continuing Professional Development seminars through Britain and in a growing number of centres overseas, to our prestigious and highly-acclaimed conferences. We have a strong regional presence throughout the UK, with 16 active branches across the British Isles, and a fast-growing presence outside our London base, served by offices in Dubai, Dublin, Edinburgh, Mumbai, Shanghai and Singapore.
