The Qualifications and Curriculum Authority (the Government regulator for awarding bodies) has accredited a new stand-alone version of the Introduction to Securities and Investment Unit of the Investment Administration Qualification (IAQ^TM) resulting in a new stand-alone award called the Introduction to Investment.

A pass in this unit will lead to the Securities & Investment Institute Award for Introduction to Investment . Successful candidates will be able to take further units to gain the IAQ.
