Welcome to the Candidate assistance area of the Securities & Investment Institute website. This section will enable you to locate the relevant information and advice that you will need to help you pass your exam first time.

Please note all candidates are now required to complete a Qualification Registration Form when registering for a Qualification Programme (i.e. when sitting an exam for the first time in that Qualification). This form must be completed before exam results can be released.

If you have not already completed the form, you may complete the form online by clicking on the link above.

To request details of upcoming exams, training courses, or membership events on which you are enrolled to be emailed to you, please click on the Bookings Information Request Form and fill in your email address.

SELECTING & BOOKING YOUR EXAM EXAMINATION PREPARATION ON THE DAY OF THE EXAM AFTER THE EXAMINATION
  • When are exam results released?

    IAQ results are released 15 working days after the exam.

    SII Certificates results:
    Exams sat in London
    All subjects except Certificate in Investment Management are released 2 working days after the exam. Certificate in Investment Management results are released 6 working days after the exam.
    Exams sat Regionally
    All subjects except Certificate in Investment Management are released within 10 working days after the exam. We will normally release results 5 working days after the exam subject to papers being returned to us from venues within the specified tme. Certificate in Investment Management results are released 10 working days after the exam.
    Exams sat Overseas
    All subjects released 10 working days after the exam

    Diploma and IAC result dates are available from their sections of this website
