Success for Singapore and Scotland

Top up-and-coming financial services specialists in Singapore and Scotland have been recognised by the Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment (CISI).

At its second annual awards ceremony (pictured), the CISI in Singapore honoured seven people who achieved outstanding results in their Institute exams. The guest speaker at the event, held at the Asian Civilisations Museum, was Ng Nam Sin, executive director of the Financial Centre Development Department at the Monetary Authority of Singapore. The awards were supported by RBS (gold sponsor) and Deutsche Bank (silver sponsor).

The awards were presented by CISI chairman Alan Yarrow FCSI(Hon) and guests included the Institute’s chief executive Simon Culhane, Chartered FCSI. The ceremony coincided with the third anniversary of the Institute setting up an office in Singapore.

The CISI in Scotland also held its second annual awards, sponsored by SIX Telekurs UK. Presenting the awards, at the Merchants House of Glasgow, was Mark Tennant, chairman of Scottish Financial Enterprise.
